Abstract

Economic dynamics in the real estate sector require companies to maintain operational efficiency and improve the quality of their human resources. Employee performance is an important aspect because it is directly related to target achievement, workflow continuity, and company productivity. At PT Graha Damai Putra, workload and leadership are factors that need to be considered because both may affect employees’ ability to complete their duties optimally. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effects of workload and leadership on employee performance at PT Graha Damai Putra. This study employed a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique. The sample consisted of all employees of PT Graha Damai Putra who met the research criteria, totaling 45 respondents. Primary data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and were subsequently analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method to examine the relationships among workload, leadership, and employee performance. The results indicate that workload has a negative relationship with employee performance; however, its effect is not statistically significant. This finding suggests that workload has not become a major factor that significantly reduces employee performance at PT Graha Damai Putra. In contrast, leadership has been proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, the company is expected to continuously improve leadership quality and manage employee workload appropriately through clear directions, effective operational communication, and proportional task distribution.
