Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of work engagement on turnover intention with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among sales division employees at PT Fastrata Buana Kediri Branch. This research employed a quantitative approach using an associative research method. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, involving 96 employees from the sales division of PT Fastrata Buana Kediri Branch as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that work engagement has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. This finding suggests that the higher the level of work engagement experienced by employees, the higher their job satisfaction. Work engagement also has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, indicating that employees with higher work engagement tend to have lower intentions to leave the company. Furthermore, job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, implying that increased job satisfaction can reduce employees’ intentions to resign. In addition, job satisfaction was found to significantly mediate the relationship between work engagement and turnover intention. These findings indicate that work engagement not only directly reduces turnover intention but also indirectly decreases turnover intention through enhanced job satisfaction as a mediating mechanism.
