Abstract

Effective archive management is a crucial aspect of supporting administrative digitization in government institutions. The Library and Archives Office of Bojonegoro Regency has developed the Media Conversion System as a solution to ensure that digital documents can be stored and managed properly in accordance with applicable standards. One of the main features of this system is letter classification, which functions to categorize documents based on type, access rights, retention, and security classification. Additionally, there is an official report feature to ensure that all media conversion processes are properly documented. this aims to enhance order and efficiency in digital archive management. This research focuses on the development of the letter classification feature using Laravel 10 as the backend and Vue.js as the frontend. The development methodology for this project includes requirements analysis, system design, feature implementation, as well as system testing and evaluation. The implementation results indicate that the letter classification feature improves efficiency in document search and management compared to previous methods. With the introduction of this feature, the Media Conversion System becomes more optimized in supporting digital transformation in the archiving sector. It is expected that the implementation of this system can serve as a model for other institutions looking to implement secure, efficient, and regulation-compliant digital document management systems.
