Abstract
Redesign of the website interface for the East Java Provincial Department of Communication and Information Technology (Diskominfo), aimed at comprehensively improving the quality of the User Interface (UI). This project was carried out using a user-centered design approach, with us serving as Front-End Developers. The design process was carried out using Figma, encompassing the creation of a design system and prototyping for both desktop and mobile versions. The interface was implemented using Visual Studio Code with the Laravel 10 framework and Tailwind CSS 3.4.17, with a focus on responsiveness and visual consistency across various devices. Evaluation was conducted through review sessions with a mentor, who provided valuable feedback regarding the interface’s aesthetic and functional aspects. The results of this process demonstrate improvements in navigation, visual clarity, and ease of access to information for users. This project not only made a tangible contribution to the development of the East Java Communication and Information Agency’s digital services but also strengthened the author’s understanding and skills in applying UI/UX principles in a professional context. It is hoped that the results of this redesign will enhance the quality of user interfaces for government digital services.
