Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effects of Workload, Job Stress, and Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Surabaya Central Mail Processing Office (SPP). This study uses an associative research type with quantitative methods. The total sample consisted of 44 distribution department employees with data collection through questionnaires, literature studies, and data processing using SPSS 31. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, while the data analysis technique implemented multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Workload, Job Stress, and Work Environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Surabaya Central Mail Processing Office (SPP). Partially, Workload has a negative and significant effect on Employee Performance. Meanwhile, Job Stress and Work Environment have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) value reached 54.2%, indicating that the variation in employee performance can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining 45.8% will be explained by other factors. The implication of this study is that the management of the Surabaya Central Mail Processing Office (SPP) needs to prioritize workload and work stress management, as well as improving the work environment as the main strategy for improving employee performance. Keywords: Workload, Job Stress, Work Environment, and Employee Performance.
