Abstract
The allocation of rewards, together with positive work environment in a company are highly needed to achieve a great working performance. Some evidences show that a reward or compensation is a reaction of the performance of the employee. On the other hand, the performance it self is a function of the work environment. This research uses primary sources which are the answers of the questionnaire distributed among the employee of PT PLN (Persero) Pamekasan Area, where all the workers in the company are being the respondents. This study is carried out using 41 samples after saturated sample determination. The data is analyzed by incorporating double linier regression technique. Hypothesis assessment is done by using F and t test approaches The result of the simultaneous data analysis (F test) suggest that compensation (X1) and work environment (X2) significantly influence worker’s efficacy (Y), with Fcount (5,941) > Ftable (3,24). Another finding indicated that both factors have a positive and great correlation with the working performance of the employee, as the value derived after t test for X1 and X2 are tcount (2,537) > ttable (2,024) and tcount (2,163) > ttable (2,024), respectively.
