Abstract
PT Atmojo Putra Perkasa is a company engaged in heavy equipment rental, especially Mobile Crane 100T. This company is responsible for ensuring that heavy equipment distribution runs smoothly and efficiently according to the set service standards. However, in the distribution process of heavy equipment rental, inefficiencies are still found such as long waiting times, recording errors, suboptimal coordination, and time-consuming administrative processes. This study aims to analyze waste in heavy equipment rental distribution with a Lean Distribution approach and provide recommendations for improvement to reduce waste. The methods used include Process Activity Mapping (PAM), Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with the 5 Whys method. The results of the analysis showed that PAM was effective in identifying waste, with dupplication, error, and delay as the dominant non value added activity. Proposed improvements include eliminating non value added activities, simplifying document flows, and improving coordination. After the implementation of the fix, the initial lead time of 2662,86 minutes was reduced to 2172,20 minutes and the PCE increased from 21,86% to 26,80%. The implementation of Lean Distribution effectively improves the efficiency of heavy equipment distribution at PT Atmojo Putra Perkasa.
