Abstract
Government is the structure responsible for managing a country, encompassing institutions, decision-making processes, and implementing policies for the public interest. The government is obliged to maintain the welfare and justice of its citizens. Therefore, active communication with the public through social media is essential. The use of social media helps the government obtain quick and relevant information from monitoring and public reports. To facilitate monitoring, a web-based information system is needed that can connect to various social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and news articles. This system is called Socialens. The research methods used by Socialens include the Use Case Diagram to identify and describe interactions between users and the system, the ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) to illustrate and organize interrelated data within a system, and efficiently designing UI/UX and prototypes using Figma. Socialens is used by government staff who have accounts to access various features. First, the filter setting feature for category settings and parameters to display analytical data and frequently discussed topics. Second, the connect account feature to link the agency's social media accounts with the system. Third, the mention analytic feature to help staff know the total mentions of accounts across various platforms. Fourth, the sentigraph feature to visualize comment sentiment data. Fifth, the mention statistic feature to display graphs of the number of mentions per month or year. Sixth, the types of crime feature to show crime data based on keywords and hashtags. Seventh, the criminal reports feature to display the number of crime data per month over a year. Eighth, the most discussed lately feature to show topics that are widely discussed. Ninth, the mention source feature to allow users to see mention details from various media. Tenth, the timeline categorizer feature to view posts by category and social media. Eleventh, the public report feature to collect public complaints through links shared on social media. Finally, the media broadcast hub feature to help staff send response emails regarding a case to various media and increase public trust in the government.
