Abstract
Movie of Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku is a controversial movie produced by Garin Nugraha director. Controversy occurs because the movie includes many deviant scenes with LGBT elements. In Indonesia, LGBT is considered a deviant sexual disease. The existence is still being debated because it is not suitable with cultural norms in Indonesia. The research methode Virtual Ethnography research by Cristine Hine. The data collection by online research and interviews. From analyzing the data by researcher, there are two groups are consciously formed from their point of view about the movie, namely the Pro group and the Contra group. The Pro group understands that the movie deserves appreciation because of its success in getting praise and awards at the international level, while the Contra group understands that the film can have a negative impact for the younger generation's to think about free sex and deviant behavior.
