Abstract

This study aims to investigate how organizational culture and work discipline influence deviant behavior in the workplace among employees of PT Kencar Sukses Investama. Using a quantitative approach through the Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, this study involved 86 permanent employees who had worked for at least one year. The results of the study show that organizational culture has a negative and significant influence on deviant behavior in the workplace, while work discipline has a negative but insignificant influence. These findings indicate that to control employee behavior, formal rules alone are not enough. It is also important to strengthen the values in the organizational culture and work ethic in order to create positive work behavior that is in line with the company's objectives.
