Abstract

This study examines the registration procedure for uncertified waqf land at the North Jakarta Land Office. The objective is to analyze administrative stages, obstacles, and solutions to ensure legal certainty for waqf properties. The research employed direct observation, document analysis, and interviews with relevant officials. Findings reveal that the registration process involves document verification, land measurement, public announcement of results, objection handling, and issuance of a legal certificate. Major challenges include limited public awareness of land certification, insufficient outreach, and administrative complexity. Recommendations include enhancing legal education, streamlining procedures, and expanding systematic land registration programs. The results highlight the significance of waqf land registration as legal protection and as a means to prevent potential disputes.
