Abstract
The use of social media as a platform for disseminating educational content is steadily increasing, including in the realm of Islamic-based sexual education. One such active account is @taulebih.id on Instagram, which consistently shares content on sexual education from an Islamic perspective. This study aims to explore the themes of Islamic-based sexual education presented by the account over six months, from September 2024 to February 2025, analyzing a total of 137 posts. Employing a quantitative content analysis method, this research uses a coding sheet to examine the characteristics of messages based on categorized sexual education themes. The findings reveal that among the five identified thematic categories, Physical and Biological aspects were the most dominant (26%), particularly within the subcategory of disease and health disorders. Principles and Islamic Values ranked second (16%), generating high engagement, reflecting audience interest in topics that integrate sexual education with religious values. Social and Sexual Issues (11%) also recorded strong interaction levels, often covering topics relevant to current news. Family (10%) was frequently featured despite relatively low interaction, suggesting that it remains a priority theme. Marriage and Household (4%) accounted for the smallest proportion, indicating that this topic has yet to become a primary focus in @taulebih.id’s content. Meanwhile, the remaining 32% consisted of Organizational Content that did not contain any sexual education.
