Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of government spending on education and health, economic growth, and labor force participation rate on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Malang Regency. The data used are secondary data with a time series from 1998-2023 obtained from the Central Statistik Agency and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance, which were then analyzed using multiple linier regression. The results indicate that government spending on health and labor force participation rate have a positive and significant impact on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Malang Regency, while government spending on education and economic growth don’t have a significant impact on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Malang Regency. These Findings recommend evaluating the effectiveness of the budget and strengthening the labor sector to support sustainable human development.
