Abstract
ShopeePay is an e-wallet application integrated with the Shopee e-commerce platform, providing wallet and electronic money services, commonly known as e-wallets, which function as an online payment method. However, ShopeePay faces challenges in its adoption, requiring the application to identify the habits and preferences of Generation Z and women regarding more innovative and practical services. This study aims to identify the factors that influence users' intentions to adopt ShopeePay as a payment method among women in Generation Z, using the UTAUT method. The research utilizes Partial Least Square (PLS) testing tools for inferential analysis, assisted by SmartPLS software version 4.1.0.9. The total number of respondents in this study is 160, based on a two-fold multiple of the minimum sample size according to Roscoe's theory, using a simple random sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that performance expectancy, social influence, and perceived security significantly affect users' intentions. This is evidenced by the positive path coefficient values, t-statistics ≥ 1,96, and p-values < 0,05. In other words, the application's performance, recommendations from close acquaintances, and security are the key factors driving users to adopt the ShopeePay application.
