Abstract

Surabaya city is the second largest city in Indonesia with current economic activities that are growing and developing. Futureease collaborative workspace in the city of Surabaya is present as a place that houses and supports business activities carried out by small businesses or start-up businesses such as MSMEs, as a facility and infrastructure for activities in the economic sector of Surabaya City which is growing every time. The location is located in the southern part of Surabaya City, located on Jl. South Famili Boulevard, Babatan Village, Wiyung District, Surabaya City which is a strategic area. This collaborative workspace builds its identity as a new icon that symbolizes the future and innovation with a futuristic design that reflects the spirit to continue to grow in the present and in the future. With the Futureease Collaborative Workspace, it is expected to be an alternative solution to support the development and growth of the economic sector in Surabaya City. In addition, this building also functions as a community and industrial activity center that presents collaborative in the growth of the local business community to create synergies that support economic development in the city of Surabaya. The design discussion method used is descriptive analysis which aims to describe and describe the characteristics or nature of a phenomenon. This method provides an overview of the object collaborative workspace based on the approach. The design analysis is carried out using a Futuristic Architecture approach that integrates technological advances in business economic activities with the environment of the object design. Through this approach, it is expected to be able to support the activities of business development by increasing consumption of local products and increasing education to the public regarding this matter.
