Abstract
This empirical study seeks to investigate the relationship between intellectual intelligence, integrity, and academic self-efficacy on academic fraud and to determine students ethical attitude to moderate the relationship between hese three factors in academic fraud. Research Method is explanatory with a quantitative approach. The population of this study is active Accounting students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UPN Veteran East Java with a total of 1,596 students. The sample calculation was carried out using the slovin method with a precision value of 10% resulting in a sample of 95 students using simple random sampling. The use of primary data with the distribution through google form and analyzed with the help of SmartPLS 4.0. Analysis techniques and hypothesis testing using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The novelty of this research is the object and period of research, namely on active students of the Accounting Study Program of UPN “Veteran” East Java in the 2024/2025 academic year. It was found that there was a negative influence between intellectual intelligence and academic self-efficacy with academic fraud. Integrity has a positive effect on academic fraud. The relationship between intellectual intelligence and academic fraud is weakened by students' ethical attitudes. Integrity and academic self-efficacy variables on academic fraud cannot be moderated by students' ethical attitudes. Implication serves as a source of information, reference, and contribution in advancing science and supporting previous research or future relevant research.
