Abstract

There are several factors that can determine the level of tax compliance, one of which is the awareness of taxpayers in carrying out their tax obligations, the existence of sanctions if taxes are late or neglected to be reported by taxpayers, and taxpayers are knowledgeable about the role of taxes, the obligation to carry out taxes, and the types of taxes that collect or withhold income received. Research related to individual taxpayer compliance is intended to test whether individual taxpayer compliance in Nganjuk Regency is determined by factors such as taxpayer awareness, tax sanctions, and tax knowledge. With a quantitative approach that takes primary data through distributing questionnaires using nonprobability sampling with a 10% margin, 100 data samples are needed, then the data is analyzed using the SPSS 26 test tool to check the multiple linear regression model. The results of the analysis show that taxpayer awareness and tax knowledge have a positive and significant contribution to individual taxpayer compliance in Nganjuk Regency, while tax sanctions have no contribution to taxpayer compliance.
