Abstract
PG Rejo Agung Baru was established in 1894. This company is a subsidiary of NV Handel MT Kian Gwan which changed to Oei Tiong Ham Concern (OTHC) as a holding company with 100% private ownership. The name of NV. PG. Rejo Agung changed to PT. PG. Rejo Agung Baru In 1996 it was then perfected in a legal entity to become PT. PG. Rajawali 1 Unit PG. Rejo Agung Baru. The sugar factory is divided into several different work stations based on the sequence of production processes carried out until the sugar cane becomes whole sugar. The types of stations are grinding stations, refining stations, evaporation stations, cooking stations, and rotation stations. At the evaporation station, calculations of Mass and Heat Balances are carried out on the Evaporator and the Need for Heating Steam Based on the Heating Area as a special task for field work practices. The main product produced by PG. Rejo Agung Baru is white crystal sugar. The white crystal sugar produced has the market name "Raja Gula". In addition, there are several by-products produced such as molasses and filter cake (blotong). Analyses of samples in the factory, from raw sugar cane to SHS sugar products are carried out in the laboratory with reference to the SNI 3140.3:2010 GKP standard.
