Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of perceived benefits, perceived security, and trust on the use of the OVO application among accounting students at UPN “Veteran” East Java. The background of this research is based on the development of digital financial technology (fintech) encouraging changes in people's transaction behavior, including students, from cash to non-cash methods through digital wallets. This type of research is quantitative using primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires using Google Form. A sample of 78 respondents was determined using random sampling technique based on the Slovin formula. Data analysis was carried out using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 25. The results showed that perceived benefits, perceived security, and trust had a positive and significant effect on the use of the OVO application. These findings support the application of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in understanding the factors that influence the adoption of financial technology among college students.
