Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has driven the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in Indonesia to adopt digital strategies to expand and enhance business efficiency. MSMEs play a vital role in the national economy, significantly contributing to job creation and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth, yet they often face challenges such as limited access to technology and funding (Ministry of Finance, 2023). Therefore, in this report, PT Digital Bisnis Kreatif, focusing on empowering MSMEs through digital innovation, undertakes the development of backend infrastructure for the Growlab platform. The primary focus is on improving the performance, scalability, and security of the Growlab web application in response to the challenges MSMEs face in adopting digital technology. Thus, this research aims to provide a viable solution to support the growth and adaptation of MSMEs in this digital era. The development methodology includes system needs analysis, efficient backend architecture design, and implementation using modern technologies such as Node.js and Express.js. The development process is iterative to ensure flexibility and responsiveness to evolving user needs, with a strong emphasis on secure data management, server performance optimization, and API integration to support interactive features on the frontend. Results from the backend infrastructure development for the Growlab website show significant improvements in system performance and security. Server optimization and API integration successfully enhance the responsiveness of the web application and improve user data security. It is recommended to leverage the registration form integration to enhance efficiency in job vacancy management while continuing to develop features that enrich the user experience for MSMEs.
