Abstract
In the current era of rapid digitalization, the integration of information technology across various sectors has become imperative. Within the industrial domain, the adoption of web-based systems has emerged as a popular solution to streamline operational processes, including attendance management. PT. Otak Kanan, a company engaged in the field of information technology, recognizes the critical role of technological innovation in supporting its business processes. In response, the company has initiated the implementation of a web-based internship attendance system. The existing manual attendance process has posed several challenges, such as inefficiencies in data collection and delays in record-keeping. Through the adoption of information technology, PT. Otak Kanan aims to overcome these issues and deliver an enhanced experience for both administrators and interns. During the internship program, a web-based attendance system was successfully designed and developed to meet the company’s operational needs. This system enables interns to record their attendance online using either desktop or mobile devices. Overall, the implementation of the web-based attendance system not only improves attendance management at PT. Otak Kanan but also contributes to increased productivity and operational efficiency within the organization.
