Abstract

This research aims to find out how Gen Z's perceptions of health messages conveyed by Dr. Tirta through The Samuel Christ Show podcast on the episode titled “Watch This Podcast If You Want to Live Beyond the Age of 50!”. In the digital era, media such as podcasts have become a popular communication channel among Gen Z, especially communication channel that is popular among Gen Z, especially in conveying information about health and lifestyle. health and lifestyle. Dr. Tirta, as a public figure who is widely known on social media, delivers important messages about exercise, diet, sleep patterns, and healthy living habits in a relaxed yet informative format. informative format. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with Jalaluddin Rakhmat's perception theory as the theoretical foundation. Data collected through in-depth interviews with nine informants from among Gen Z who have watched the episode. have watched the episode. The results showed that the perception of Gen Z's perception of the message content is not uniform.
