Abstract
Kezia Salon Pasuruan faces challenges in managing reservations, which are still done manually, causing unstructured queues, inefficient data recording, and difficulty in accessing customer service history. To address these issues, this research develops an Android-based Queue Reservation and Treatment record System by implementing the MVVM architecture and using Firebase as the main backend. The system development is carried out using the Waterfall method, which consists of communication, planning, modeling, construction, and deployment stages, to ensure the development process runs systematically and structured. The system is equipped with service reservation features, customer treatment recording, and automatic notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for reservation confirmation, schedule reminders, and service cancellations. After the development process is completed, testing is carried out using the Black Box Testing method, which shows that all main features have functioned according to specifications, and Compatibility Testing, which ensures the application runs optimally on various devices and Android versions, from Nougat to the latest. The results of this study indicate that the developed system is able to support the reservation and treatment record process to be more monitored, minimizing errors in reservation recording at Kezia Salon Pasuruan.
