Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Organizational Employee Relationship (OER) and Organizational Resilience Restoration (ORR) on Internal Crisis Communication (ICC) in the media company X TV in Surabaya. Data for this research were collected through questionnaires and direct (offline) interactions. The research sample consisted of 60 respondents selected using a non-probability sampling technique with the accidental sampling method. The data obtained from the questionnaires were processed using the Smart PLS 3.0 software for analysis. The results of the study show that both Organizational Employee Relationship and Organizational Resilience Restoration have significant relationships with Internal Crisis Communication, indicating that positive relationships among employees can enhance effective internal crisis communication within the organization. Moreover, Organizational Resilience Restoration was also found to have a positive and significant relationship with Internal Crisis Communication, demonstrating that organizational resilience recovery supports the creation of more structured and responsive communication during crisis situations. This research contributes to the literature on crisis management, particularly in the media context, by emphasizing the importance of employee relationships and organizational resilience restoration as factors that strengthen internal communication during crises. The findings of this study suggest that companies should enhance employee relationships and implement integrated recovery measures. This approach helps create a more resilient and communicative work environment, enabling media companies to be better prepared for future challenges and crises.
