Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work environment on the job satisfaction of teachers at SMAN 19 Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach with primary data collected through questionnaire techniques with a Likert scale on a sample of 58 respondents. In addition to the primary data, secondary data were also obtained, namely data provided by the company. The data obtained was then analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) and the results showed that overall job satisfaction is influenced by work motivation and work environment variables and the rest by other variables outside the research model. The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of teachers at SMAN 19 Surabaya.
