Abstract

This study examines the contributions of non-state actors in the field of Internasional Relations, focusing on Allianz as a multinational corporation (MNC) and its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Indonesia. Specifically, it highlights Allianz’s role as an MNC operating in Indonesia and analyzes the implementation of its CSR programs within the country. This research covers the period from 2020 to 2022, aiming to asses the execution of Allianz’s CSR activities during these three years. This study employs Carroll’s “The Three-Domain Model CSR” to explore the motivations behind Allianz’s CSR initiatives, addressing the research problem. A qualitative descriptive approach is adopted, with data collected through a literature review of sources such as Allianz Indonesia’s official website, academic journald, and other relevant research studies. The findings reveal that Allianz successfully implemented various CSR programs in Indonesia between 2020 and 2022 as part of its commitment to supporting local communities. Futhermore, the motivations behind these programs allign with the economic/ethical, legal/ethical, purely ethical, and economic/legal/ethical domains outlined in the “Three-Domain Model of CSR”.
