Abstract
Phosphoric acid factory from sulfuric acid and phosphate rock using the central prayon process with a capacity of 50,000 tons/year, is planned to be established in Kedundung Village, Margelo District, Mojokerto City, East Java. Phosphoric acid in the fertilizer industry plays an important role as the main component of phosphate fertilizer which is one of the fertilizers that is widely needed in the agricultural sector, such as NPK, DSP, TSP, SP-36, PONSKA and other phosphate fertilizers. The P element is used by plants for cell division, adipogenesis, root development, stem strengthening, and many other functions. In addition to the fertilizer industry, phosphoric acid is also widely used in other sectors such as the manufacture of detergents, floor cleaners, insecticides, the food industry (making lysine and MSG), the textile industry, and so on. This factory is planned to operate for 330 days a year
