Abstract
Gunung Anyar Mangrove Botanical Garden is the first and only Thematic Mangrove Botanical Garden in Indonesia. With a total land area of 34 hectares, Gunung Anyar Mangrove Botanical Garden has 59 types of mangrove plants. In 2024 the number of visits began to decline, this could be due to the implementation of entrance tickets that were previously not enforced or free. This change will make many visitors think again to visit Gunung Anyar Mangrove Botanical Garden. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the activities of Gunung Anyar Surabaya Mangrove Botanical Garden as an ecotourism site, (2) to analyze the factors that influence the level of satisfaction of visitors to Gunung Anyar Surabaya Mangrove Botanical Garden, and (3) to identify a development plan for the ecotourism area of Gunung Anyar Surabaya Mangrove Botanical Garden. The sample was selected using accidental sampling method of at least 100 people. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis using SEM-PLS through the WarpPLS 7.0 application with 4 variables namely: service quality, price, facilities and destination image. The results showed that the Gunung Anyar Surabaya mangrove botanical garden offers a variety of interesting activities related to flora, fauna and mangrove ecosystems, with supporting facilities and educational programs. Factors affecting visitor satisfaction on service quality variables do not have a significant effect on visitor satisfaction, while price variables, facilities, and destination image have a significant effect on visitor satisfaction.
