Abstract
Human resources are one of the important aspects that must be considered by a company, one of which is employee job satisfaction. Companies without good job satisfaction will affect the low level of employee productivity so that company performance will also decrease. Therefore, companies must pay attention to and strive for employee job satisfaction levels so that they continue to increase and be stable. Employee job satisfaction can be seen from the aspects of work life balance and career development for employees. This study aims to find out and examine the influence of work-life balance and career development on job satisfaction in PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia Tanjung Perak branch of Surabaya. The method used in this study is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population and sample in this study used a saturated sampling technique with a sample of 46 employees of PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia Tanjung Perak branch of Surabaya. The analysis technique uses the PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis method. Based on the results of this study, it is shown that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia Tanjung Perak Surabaya branch and career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia Tanjung Perak Surabaya branch.
