Abstract
The growth of the food and beverage industry, especially in online ordering, has surged due to lifestyle changes, technological advancements, and the global pandemic. CV. Hence Art & Bakery faces challenges in maintaining competitiveness with the current manual ordering system. Developing a web-based food ordering information system is crucial to improving efficiency, accuracy, and ease of access to information. This study applies the Feature Driven Development (FDD) method in developing a web�based food ordering information system at CV. Hence Art & Bakery. FDD offers a structured approach to identifying, planning, and implementing system features incrementally. The research results indicate that the manual ordering system at CV. Hence Art & Bakery has many shortcomings. By applying a web-based ordering information system using the FDD method, the system was successfully developed, received a high SUS score, and addressed business problems. The new system improves efficiency, accuracy, and ease of access to information, and supports better order management, payment, and reporting integration. The development of a web-based food ordering information system using the Feature Driven Development (FDD) method in this study has successfully enhanced the effectiveness and efficiency of the ordering process at CV. Hence Art & Bakery. The new system not only aids in better order management but also provides easy access to information for customers and management
