Abstract

Financial Technology is developing very rapidly, especially in the Peer to Peer Lending sector. Due to Peer to Peer lending using the Multi Sided Platform (MSP) business model where many borrowers and lenders use this technology, the company will sustain itself. PT Komunal is a company operating in the peer to peer lending field. Data was obtained through a survey of application users and analyzed with the assistance of Smart PLS 3. The objective of this research is to identify the factors influencing user acceptance or borrower acceptance towards Komunal Peer to Peer Lending based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Thus, this study analyzes acceptance by identifying the factors affecting acceptance towards the Komunal Peer to Peer Lending Application. The method used in this research is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with six main variables: Perceived Risk, Trust, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Quality of Service, and Adoption Intention. The technique chosen in this research is simple random sampling. A sample of 385 respondents was taken from a population of 10,000 users. Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that all ten hypotheses in this study—variables such as Perceived Risk, Trust, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Quality of Service, and Adoption Intention—are accepted. Perceived Usefulness and Trust are identified as the main drivers for adopting or accepting the Komunal P2P application.
