Abstract

A TikTok account with the username @namanyajuag created video content that showed the poor condition of the lalay bridge so that many netizens commented and considered the government to be ignorant of the condition of the bridge that was no longer suitable as a road link. Comments on social media also spread quickly and became social criticism that was shared and supported by many people to become a major concern and encourage further action from the government. The purpose of this research is to find out how audiences framed the social criticism of @namanyajuag's TikTok video on the lalay bridge in Sukabumi. The research method used is qualitative with an audience framing approach and data collection using interviews. The results showed that the audience framing obtained from the informants agreed with the @namanyajuag account that voiced criticism to the government regarding the condition of the Lalay bridge. The informants also support the social criticism content uploaded by @namanyajuag because the content is in accordance with the actual state and condition of the Lalay bridge.
