Abstract
This research focuses on how Kompas.id, as an inspiring example of adapting traditional media to digital media, frames the issue of beef self-sufficiency in Indonesia. Using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis, this study explores problem definition, cause diagnosis, moral assessment, and solution recommendations in Kompas.id reporting. By analyzing the news corpus during March-June 2023, this research reveals Kompas.id's role in shaping public opinion with a balanced and responsible approach. The results show a focus on the structural challenge of lack of self-sufficiency and offer investment and policy-based solutions. This research is important in understanding the role of digital media in shaping public perceptions of strategic issues. Keywords: Framing, Beef self-sufficiency, Media.
