Abstract
Lately, there has been a growing awareness of employee performance improvement in the Indonesian workplace. The organisation endeavours to enhance employee performance in order to enhance competitiveness, react to prevailing changes, and attain operational efficiency. PT Bina Pertiwi Surabaya Branch has challenges with many employee performance metrics, including issues related to organisational culture, work satisfaction, organisational commitment, and employee performance. The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of the correlation between organisational culture and job satisfaction on employee performance, with organisational commitment acting as a mediator. This study used a Structural Equation Model with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) as the methodology. The findings of this study indicate that organisational culture has no impact on organisational commitment or employee performance. Organisational commitment does not have the ability to act as a mediator in the relationship between organisational culture and employee performance. Nevertheless, work satisfaction has a significant impact on both organisational commitment and employee performance. Organisational commitment serves as a mediator in the relationship between work satisfaction and employee performance. The study findings provide many suggestions for development, specifically focusing on characteristics of organisational culture (growth-mindset), work satisfaction (promotion opportunities and superiors), and organizational commitment (continuance commitment dan normative commitment).
