Abstract

Instagram is a social media that is widely used as a platform for building and introducing personal branding to the public. Especially for an influencer who works via Instagram, they must have personal branding to make collaboration easier. Personal branding displayed on social media will shape various perceptions from followers. The focus of this research is followers' perceptions of Tasyi Athasyia's personal branding on Instagram after the case of employee rights being detained by influencer Tasyi Athasyia in 2023. The theories used in this research are the Theory of Individual Differences and the Personal Branding Concept with descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection was carried out by means of documentation and interviews. The results of this research are that Tasyi Athasyia's credibility as a content creator is very high, because followers still like Tasyi Athasyi's cooking content even though they no longer respect Tasyi Athasyia's figure.
