Abstract
The feature of adding multiple accounts on the social media platform Instagram facilitates the management of many accounts simultaneously. Through this feature, the phenomenon of second accounts has become increasingly popular. With a second account, individuals can post various things without the fear or concern of others' opinions about them. While many previous studies have examined the use of second accounts among female subjects, this study investigates the use of second accounts by males. The aim of this study is to analyze the forms of self-disclosure among Generation Z males. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with in-depth interviews. The results of this study indicate that male Generation Z individuals also engage in self-disclosure on their second Instagram accounts with the purpose of showcasing a different side of their lives that is not shown on their primary accounts. Additionally, males use their second accounts due to fear and reluctance of being judged by others for what they post, if they were to post on their primary accounts. The forms of selfdisclosure by male Generation Z include sharing about their favorite celebrities, daily life, what they are currently doing and where they are, complaining about things they encounter in everyday life, and sharing funny and random videos. Keywords : Self Disclosure, Males Generation Z, Second Account
