Abstract
Temanggung Regency is a district located in Central Java Province, characterized by its highland terrain. This natural condition makes Temanggung Regency home to many tourist attractions, attracting both domestic and international visitors. According to data released by the Central Statistics Agency of Temanggung Regency in 2021, the number of tourists visiting Temanggung has increased annually from 2016 to 2019. In line with the Central Java Provincial Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), Temanggung Regency will focus on tourism development in the future. Therefore, adequate facilities and infrastructure are needed to support this, one of which is by improving access to Temanggung Regency. Hence, the construction of the Temanggung Railway Station is a strategic step to facilitate tourists visiting Temanggung Regency. The design of the Temanggung Railway Station aligns with PT. KAI's plan to reactivate the railway line to Temanggung Regency. The approach used is Symbolic Architecture, incorporating symbols that reflect Temanggung Regency, making the railway station easily memorable and recognizable by tourists. Using the analogy method can highlight forms from Temanggung's flagship products. The theme "Identity" is adopted so that this station building can represent Temanggung Regency.
