Abstract
The Photography Gallery in the City of Surabaya is a design object that accommodates all activities related to photography. As photography technology in Indonesia continues to develop every year, nowadays photography not only functions as a means to document an activity or event, but nowadays photography has become a life style like before eating, when traveling, photos are definitely number one. searching for. Surabaya is the largest city after DKI Jakarta with a population of 2,765,487 people in 2019. In the field of photography, the city of Surabaya is lagging behind Jakarta, where in Jakarta there is a photography gallery which provides a forum for the community and society to channel and gain appreciation, nowadays Social media is one method used as a gallery and as a forum for seeking appreciation in the form of likes and comments from the outside community From several facts, issues and goals that have been presented, a common thread emerges that the city of Surabaya needs facilities that can accommodate all activities or activities related to the field of photography, so that later the people and photographers in the city of Surabaya will have a place to get appreciation in the real world. .
