Abstract
Absorption of labor is one of the goals of economic development. Economic development that is increasing and improving will increase employment so that it affects the availability of labor in an area. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of the labor force, investment, minimum wage, and inflation on labor absorption in Tuban Regency in 2010 – 2020. This study is a quantitative study, the types of data used in this study are secondary data, secondary data, and secondary data. The secondary data used in this research is time series data (time series). Data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Tuban Regency in the period 2010 - 2020. In this research, the analytical method used was multiple regression analysis using the SPSS version 22 program. Multiple linear regression is a linear regression model using four independent variables. The results showed that the labor force variable had a positive and significant effect on employment, the investment variable had a negative and significant effect on employment. While the minimum wage and inflation variables have no effect on employment in Tuban Regency.
