Abstract
The research entitled Patriarchy Culture In Javanese Folks (Semiotic Study of Representation of Patriarchy Culture in Javanese Folks on The Lost Room film) is a research that uses qualitative approach and semiotic analysis method by John Fiske “Television Codes” that contain 3 level, reality level, representation level, and ideology level. This research purpose is to know how patriarchy culture in Javanese folks being represented in The Lost Room film. Both of the films represented patriarchy culture that close with Javanese people. From this research, the writer found twelve scenes in The Lost Room film that showed variety type of patriarchy culture in daily life. Keyword: Film, Patriarchy, Javanese, Culture, Semiotic
