Abstract
Until now, Indonesia's domestic milk production has not been able to meet Indonesia's national milk consumption demand due to the slow development of the dairy farming industry. The purpose of this research is to analyze a strategy that can be formulated to develop a cow's milk storage business at the Dana Mulya KUD using a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats analysis). The research location was deliberately determined at the Dana Mulya KUD. The research method uses the IFE matrix, EFE matrix, and SWOT analysis. The results of the research show that data analysis in the IFE matrix analysis obtained a score for the strength factor of 2.28 and the score of the weakness factor of 1.33. Meanwhile, in the EFE matrix analysis, the score for the opportunity factor is 1.73, and the threat factor score is 1.76. The results of the SWOT matrix analysis place the cow's milk storage business in the Dana Mulya KUD in quadrant II and the strategy that must be applied is to provide business credit facilities to members; diversify the business by adding new business partners who can open a variety of businesses in the KUD Dana Mulya; and maximize milk quality standards, so as to increase the price of milk in the market.
