Abstract
The tomato plant (Lycopersicon esculentum L.) is a horticultural commodity that is widely needed, however, it is not balanced with maximum production so it takes effort to increase production. This study aims to obtain research data and determine the combination of gibberellin hormone (GA3) and humic-coated slow-release NPK fertilizer in increasing the yield of tomato plants. This research was conducted in Sambiroto Village, Sooko District, Mojokerto Regency. This research was structured using a factorial completely randomized design. The first factor is the concentration of the hormone gibberellin (GA3) consisting of 0 ppm (H0), 50 ppm (H1), 100 ppm (H2), 150 ppm (H3). The second factor was the dosage of humate layer NPK Slow Release fertilizer consisting of 300 kg/ha without humate (P0), 200 kg/ha (P1), 250 kg/ha (P2), 300 kg/ha (P3). Observation parameters were plant height, number of leaves, age at the appearance of flowers, number of flowers, fruit set, number of fruits per plant per harvest period, the total number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant per harvest period, and total fruit weight per plant. The results showed that the combination treatment between the concentration of gibberellin hormone 100 ppm with a dosage of 300 kg/ha (H2P3) slow-release humic layer NPK fertilizer had a significant interaction with plant height, number of leaves, fruit weight per plant per harvest period, and total fruit weight per crop. plant. The concentration of the hormone gibberellin (100 ppm) had a very significant effect on the age at which flowers appeared, the number of flowers, the number of fruits per plant per harvest period, and the total number of fruits per plant. The dosage of humate layer slow-release NPK fertilizer (300 kg/ha) had a very significant effect on plant height and fruit weight per plant per harvest period.
