Abstract
purpose of this study was to determine (1) the effect of motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. KIC Tbk, Surabaya. (2) influence of work motivation on the performance of the employees of PT. KIC Tbk, Surabaya (3) The effect of job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. KIC Tbk, Surabaya Data population in this study are employees of PT. Kedaung Indah Can Tbk, Surabaya. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population numbered 224 people and 70 samples were taken using Proportional random sampling technique. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study state that it can be concluded that all independent variables Work Motivation (X1) and Job Satisfaction (X2) significantly influence the Employee Performance dependent variable (Y). Partially known Motivation variable (X1) significantly and positively influences Employee Performance (Y). Partial Testing of Job Satisfaction (X2) on Employee Performance (Y). Partially known the variable Job Satisfaction (X2) significantly influence Employee Performance (Y). From the partial test results it can also be concluded that the variable that has the most dominant influence on Employee Performance is job satisfaction (X2).
