Abstract
The tacit knowledge, personal competencies, and skills of employees are the most important resources of any company, they are the real substance of the company’s success. That’s why companies need a service that could be process and provide information on the quality of human resources in the company. Human Resources Information System built as a means to undertake the administration of the records in computerized to ensure that the management of the records can be well directed and efficient. In addition it works with the support of the fingerprint, employees data storage and employees attendance data in electronic format could be faster and easier to be managed and presented. The result of this research shows that human resources occupy a strategic position among other resources from various sources of the company. Without human resources, other resources cannot be used or managed to produce a product. The use of human resources information system in PT. Santana Manggala Karya is to facilitate HR Manager as the management of human resources, to manage employees records, work scheduling, monitoring the attendance of employees, and employees permit application.
