Abstract

This research aims to identify internal and external factors in the development of agricultural education agro-tourism in Besur Village and analyze the strategies that have been implemented and formulate alternative strategies for agricultural education agro-tourism in Besur Village. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data taken directly from the research location of the agricultural education agro-tourism area through direct observation at the site, and interviews. Respondents were selected 10 people to fill out the research questionnaire, namely the agro-tourism managers structural. Secondary data is data obtained through agencies related to this research. The analysis method used is the SWOT analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the strength factor is the low ticket price with a value of 0.329. The weakness factor is the absence of post-harvest processed products which has a value of 0.234. The opportunity factor is a place of learning outside the classroom for students with a value of 0.551. The threat factor is the change in the season which causes the aesthetic element of the tourist attraction to decrease with a value of 0.349. The resulting strategy is aggressive growth (Growth oriented strategy). Based on this, the strategic factors that need to be optimized include the following: 1 Maximizing tourism with the concept of rural nature and education. 1 Take advantage of cheap ticket prices as alternative tourism. 3 Optimizing tourism services with local institutions and communities 4 Utilizing information technology to promote educational tourism as a place to learn outside theclassroomKeywords: strategy, development, agrotourism, Besur Village
