Abstract
Economic analysis needs to be done in stock analysis because there is a strong relationship between what happens in the macroeconomic environment and the performance of a capital market. This study aims to determine the effect of macroeconomic variables and foreign indices in term of indicators of inflation, Fed Rate,exchange rate and Dow jones index on the IHSG. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data were processed using time series data analysis with multiple linear regression models. The data used is secondary data with 72 observations from January 2014-December 2019. Data collection was taken using documentation techniques sourced from the official website of Bank Indonesia and Investing.com. The results showed that inflation had no significant effect on the IHSG and the macroeconomic variables of Fed Rate, the rupiah exchange rate against the USD had a negatif and significant effect on the IHSG and the last Dow Jones Index had a positive and significant effect on the IHSG. Simultaneously, inflation, exchange rate and Fed Rate have an influence on the IHSG. Keywords: IHSG, Inflation,Fed Rate, Rupiah exchange rate & Dow Jones Index
