Abstract
PT. Pegadaian Dinoyo Surabaya is one alternative that is a financial institution for the community to make loans based on service procedures based on the vision and mission misi provide the fastest, easiest, and safest financing in helping improve the welfare of the lower middle class. PT. Pegadaian Dinoyo Surabaya itself has the motto "Solving Problems Without problem”, to implement it PT. Pegadaian Dinoyo Surabaya made Proof of Credit (SBK) for the basis of the agreement in providing funds to mentioned. This study aims to reduce the occurrence of default in PT. Pawnshop Dinoyo Surabaya. The method used in this research is empirical juridical approach method. The results of the study show that the implementation of the credit agreement went well, then there are several factors that cause the occurrence of default, then PT. pawnshop Dinoyo Surabaya made efforts to resolve the default by way of auction which contained the Proof of Credit (SBK), PT. Pawnshop Dinoyo Surabaya will resolve through the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institution (LAPS) if no agreement is reached. If this effort is not successful PT. pawnshop Dinoyo Surabaya can file a lawsuit through the court. Keywords: Credit Agreement, Default
