Abstract
Computer-based information systems offer much better speed, accuracy and efficiency in data processing compared to manual methods. Ease of access to information via the internet as a network-based technology makes it easier for users to get information from anywhere and at any time. State Elementary School 73 Bengkulu City is one of the 114 elementary schools in Bengkulu City. The process of selecting the best teacher is still done manually. This process is not effective because the calculation process is relatively long. In this research, a decision support information system was created for State Elementary School 73 in the city of Bengkulu using the profile matching method. The aspects used in this decision support are Pedagogical with 7 assessment criteria, Personality with 3 assessment criteria, Professional with 2 assessment criteria, and Social with 2 assessment criteria. From the results of this research, the decision support system was carried out using the profile matching method and was successfully carried out by obtaining black box test results of 100% and accuracy testing by comparing the manual calculation output and the calculation system output of 84%. This profile matching method can be used in decision support.
