Abstract
Economic development is a process to achieve change in various aspects. Development is carried out to achieve the welfare of all people, but the results of development often cause inequality. Income inequality is a major problem faced by many countries, both developed and developing countries. This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, education level, labor force, and minimum wage on income distribution inequality in East Java for 13 years, from 2010 - 2022. The research used in this study is quantitative research with multiple regression analysis techniques with the help of SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Science) software version 25. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java Province.The results of this study show that simultaneously the variables of Inflation, Education Level, Labor Force, and Minimum Wage affect Inequality of Income Distribution in East Java Province. And partially inflation has a positive and insignificant effect on income distribution inequality, education level has a negative and significant effect on income distribution inequality, while the labor force has a negative and insignificant effect on income distribution inequality, and the minimum wage has a positive and significant effect. its effect on income distribution inequality in East Java Province.
