Abstract
Pabrik Asam Oksalat Dihidrat Dari Tepung Sagu dan Asam Nitrat dengan Proses Hidrolisis-Oksidasi Karbohidrat 30.000 Ton/Tahun akan didirikan di Kawasan Industri Jababeka di Desa Jayamukti, Kecamatan Cikarang Utara, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Pabrik Asam Oksalat Dihidrat ini menggunakan sistem operasi kontinyu selama 24 jam dalam sehari dengan 330 hari kerja dan 167 karyawan. Bahan baku utama adalah tepung sagu yang didapatkan dari PT. Harsindo Oetama Perkasa, bahan kedua berupa Asam Nitratdidapatkan dari PT Mitra Nitrotama Kimia Cikampek. Bahan ketiga berupa asam sulfat didapatkan dari PT Timuraya Tunggal. Asam oksalat dapat digunakan sebagai bahan peledak, perawatan logam, pembuatan zat warna, krayon, industri lilin, tinta,bahan kimia dalam fotografi serta untuk keperluan analisis laboratorium. Pada bidang obatobatan, asam oksalat dapat dipakai sebagai haemostatik dan antiseptik luar.
